Thank you for taking the time to check us out. Our Lorien Columbia Skilled Nursing Community is located in the established community of Columbia, just 20 miles south of Baltimore. As you approach Lorien Columbia, you will see a beautiful facility nestled in the trees along Cedar Lane close to Route 32. New residents are greeted by our friendly and caring staff, which makes them feel at home immediately.

Lorien Columbia encompasses a wide array of services all under one roof to serve our large Skilled Nursing Community in Columbia, Maryland. Long-term care units are provided for those who may need a longer stay with the ability to handle complex medical needs. We have a designated Medical Specialty Unit to offer ventilator and trachea care for short and long term stays. Lorien Columbia also offers in-house dialysis for both in-patient and outpatient care.

Lorien Columbia's Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Units provide short-term rehabilitation with physical, occupational and speech therapy. The comprehensive program is designed to promote healing and provide the highest quality of life. These transitions can be difficult for both the patient and their family and our staff is here to help. In addition, our experienced interdisciplinary staff provides IV therapy, wound care, medication management, hospice and respite care as well as having a dietician to help with dietary needs and education.

We are also in the process of building a wellness center connecting our Columbia and Harmony Hall Assisted Living community together all on the campus of Howard County Health Park.
