Regular Events for Residents:
Fitness is an important part of wellness and enjoying life, and we are committed to encouraging good health!

Exercise Class is held in the Eden Room on Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:45am, and the Stand Up Balance Class on Friday afternoons at 2:00pm in the Eden Room. Another opportunity for exercise can be found in the 1st Floor TV room, where residents can play with the popular Wii virtual sports system. Nursing Center Residents keep fit with Morning Stretch on weekday mornings. The benefits of moving, stretching and exercising are realized by the enthusiastic participation by so many of our residents.

Various groups also play cards during the week: a couple of tables of Kings in the Corner can be found playing in the Ice Cream Parlor most evenings, as well as occasional pinochle and bridge games. Feel free to join in or start your own game!

Several opportunities for spiritual exercise are available on a regular basis as well. St. Michaels Catholic Church offers mass monthly on the third Thursday, and holds services on Sunday mornings at 10:30am. A non-denominational protestant service is held on Sunday afternoons at 1:30pm. A group from the Mt. Airy Bible Church comes to lead worship on Wednesdays at 7:00pm, and a Methodist Service is held regularly on the second Friday of the month. All services are held in the Eden Room on the third floor of the Assisted Living.
