We're glad that you have taken the time to check us out. Nestled in the heart of the historic Mt. Airy community, Lorien Mt. Airy stands ready to meet the many changing needs of the members of its community. New residents at Lorien Mt. Airy are warmly welcomed by attentive and caring staff, as well as by congenial community members. Visitors have witnessed these exchanges and remarked that being in the company of such friendly, hospitable people "makes it feel like family."
Assisted Living Mt Airy has 94 private apartments and the Skilled Nursing Center Mt Airy has the capacity to serve 62 individuals. Residents are encouraged to exercise as much independence as possible. The Ice Cream Parlor, Garden Room and many beautiful day rooms in the facility are bright and comfortable places to socialize with friends and family.
Lorien Mt. Airy's Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Unit provides short-term rehabilitation with physical, occupational and speech therapy. In addition, the Medical Specialties Unit provides ventilator care, tracheostomy care, IV therapy, wound care and 24-hour nursing and respiratory staffing.
