Lorien - Going Green

Electric cars are no longer a thing of the future. One wire, plugged into an outlet, results in 40 miles of usable energy for the new GEM e6 recently purchased by Lorien Health Systems. This is all part of the Healthy Howard initiative in which Lorien is a strong believer and sponsor. With the purchase of the GEM e6 and the upcoming fitness center being built between Lorien Columbia and Harmony Hall facilities, Lorien has embraced the importance of being environmentally friendly and health conscious. The growth and expansion of HCHP (Howard County Health Park) is necessitating the relocation of some parking. Now, with the GEM e6, the employees will easily be transported to and from their vehicles with no negative impact to the environment.
