Nursing Positions:

  • RN/LPN (Full-time 11PM-7:30AM)
  • Part-time (3PM- 11:30PM)
  • PRN (All Shifts)

- Provide direct nursing care to the residents, and supervise the day-to-day activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
- The Charge Nurse will be constantly on the alert to recognize significant changes in the condition of residents and be able to take the necessary actions.
- Evaluate the resident's plan of care and be responsible for the total care rendered to residents on assigned shift.
- Critical thinking skills a must. IV Certification and Vent training a plus but not needed.

GNA/Geriatric Nursing Assistant:

  • Full-time Now Available 11PM-7AM
  • Part-time 3PM-11PM
  • PRN: All shifts

Provide each assigned resident with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisor. Requirements:

  • Current certification as a CNA/GNA in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
  • Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and other personnel.
  • Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
  • Treats all employees, residents, and visitors with respect and dignity.
  • Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
  • Must provide documentation of such certification upon application for the position.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the work place.

CMA-Certified Medicine Aide:

  • Full-time 7AM-3:30PM; Full-time Weekend only
  • Part-time 7AM-3:30; 3:00-11:30PM
  • PRN 7-3 and 3-11 shifts

The purpose of the Certified Medicine Aide (CMA) position is to administer medications via oral, topic, and suppository route, under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. Administers medications in conformance with recognized standards established by the CMA program in the State of Maryland.

The CMA observes and reports symptoms, side effects of medications, and condition of residents to the Charge Nurse and/or ADON. Accurate records of treatments and medications will be maintained by the CMA following facility policy and procedures.

Please note, this is NOT a Certified Medical Assistant position.
